Kentucky Fair 2003

Jackson, Kelly and I went to the fair yesterday! Bunnies and rednecks and chickens, OH MY! Note well our “weak shouldered” bunny friend over to the right there… We also encountered rockabilly ducks and some odd memorials to Bob Hope and Desert Storm II in aquarium format! The bunnies were extra cute this year.

You know, nothing says you’re really behind the war like a badly decked-out 10 gallon aquarium.

I especially liked the “support our troops” scrawled in magic marker.

Classic.

Listen, I think we should support our troops as much as the next guy, but writing it on your poorly-executed aquarium entry to the state fair might not be the best way to express that sentiment.

Also, Ben, how is it that you manage to take the worst pictures of me ever? Did you use the ‘awful’ filter on your lens for the shots of me?

…in my camera bag. if i had a nickel for every time someone said “those pictures you took of me are horrible!” I’d have at least enough money for a soda by now. may i suggest some rouge? hehe.
