ben wilson This is the blog of a one Ben Wilson, a Louisville, Kentucky native who enjoys baseball, beer, music, bikes, things that fly and good food. By day he pushes pixels and makes the Internet happen for a local advertising agency. His wife, Kelly is an Ironman, and his baby Amelia is the cutest thing ever.

Man oh man, I felt sick yesterday. After we walked home from the The Flying Saucer, I just felt very tired. Not necessarily drunk, as I had only had two beers whilst throwing darts. Ugh. Went to sleep queasy and didn’t sleep well. My legs and back hurt, and just ugh… Anyway, we did manage to make it out to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, which was great! Plenty of big ol’ dinosaur skeletons, lots and lots (and lots) of gems and precious stones, a great couple of exhibits on indigenous American cultures, etc. Fun!

We finally did make it out to World Market, the Pier One-like store without all the crap. (And it’s cheaper, too). So, that was excruciatingly nice. (I was still illin’). We retired to home for a bit, and then headed out to grab something to eat at Fuddruckers. Still not feeling 100%, I ordered a grilled-chicken big bowl salad, and Kelly had the veggie burger. It took them 10 minutes to cook up the damned veggie burger! Oh well, we *are* in Texas. My salad was good, but they put bacon on it. Well, I shouldn’t say *on* it, because the bacon was infused into this salad. Well, the chicken was good.

Oh, that’s really all of action-packed day 4 of our journey. We retired home and watched some stuff on Matt’s Tivo. (Note to self: get Tivo).

I suggest the Houston – Day Four Gallery and nice pinot grigio.
